Topless Tulip

Do you notice something odd about this picture? That's right... there are no pedals. My tulips were in full bloom this year and looking very beautiful; they had returned from last year and doubled in size. What looked to be like a promising flower bed for spring took a turn for the worse Tuesday night, or should I say, Wednesday morning. When I left for work I was welcomed with this shocking sight. Some very hungry rabbit decided to help himself to every single pedal in the garden including the ones that weren't quite bloomed yet. Needless to say, the rabbit is fat, plump and happy and I am left with nothing but a topless tulip flowerbed.
